Abstract

The invention relates to golf sticks, more specifically to golf stick heads. The aim of the invention is to develop a golf-stick head which has high hit properties, high strength and long service life, the required volume and mass and a centre of mass being preserved. The inventive golf-stick head comprises a welded body made of a cast of a first casting material having first strength indexes, and a faceplate. Said faceplate is provided with a hitting surface which is made of a second deformable material and has second strength indexes which are higher than the first strength indexes. The first casting material is embodied in the form of a titanium alloy, the second deformable material being based on titanium.
