Abstract

The invention relates to a bathing hood that is especially designed for swimming pools and similar facilities in which water conditions may be detrimental to the ears or hair of the user. The hood is characterized in that it consists of a single-piece body that is configured as a ski mask covering both the head and the upper neck of the user with the exception of the front part pertaining to the face of the user. Said hood has two openings, a bottom opening for coupling to the neck of the user by exerting pressure and a front opening surrounding the face of the user and an edge that extends from the middle of the forehead, runs laterally at a marked distance relative to the ears and passes underneath on the chin. Said front opening tends toward a circle and is dimensionally adapted to generate elastic deformation of the single-piece body forcing it to exert pressure on the perimeter of the face of the user thereby also sealing said area.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a shower cap, which has been specially designed to be used at the level of swimming pools, beaches and the like, although it can also be used at the shower level.

The object of the invention is to achieve a cap that on one hand conveniently protects both the user's ears and the hair, preventing water from reaching them, parallelly preventing direct access of parasites, which optimizes the degree of protection achieved.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Especially at the level of swimming pools and other centers of similar characteristics, as is known, the use of the swimming cap is mandatory, on the one hand to protect bathers from the possible harmful effect of chlorinated water and on the other as a hygienic measure.

Conventional bathing caps, usually of rubber, are designed in order to cover the wearer's scalp, that is, to cover the postero-upper part of the frontal area, the parietal part, the upper part of the temporal part and the zone postero-superior part of the occipital part so that such caps leave the user's forehead free, the entire face including the ears and practically the entire neck, sticking exclusively on the head area corresponding to the aforementioned scalp.

With this type of caps and as is evident, the user's ears are left unprotected against the effects of water, the use of annoying plugs being necessary with the inconvenience that this entails, and also the "sealing" effect that is achieved between the head and the mouthpiece of the cap is practically null, so that despite the presence of the cap the hair gets wet with the consequent and negative repercussion for it.

Trying to obviate this problem are also known bathing caps that on the one hand are provided with expansions as "earmuffs", which cover the ears, and on the other hand they are obtained based on more comfortable materials and better adaptation, such as for example, latex, silicone and latex-silicone, but these caps only partially solve the problem described above, since due to their own formal conception, a perfect fit against the user's head is not achieved, although with less intensity, water seepage and parasite access to both the scalp and ears continue to occur.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The cap that the invention proposes solves in a fully satisfactory manner the above-mentioned problem and this based on a formal conception totally different from what is conventional.

To do this, more specifically and from a single piece body based on a thin sheet of latex, endowed with great flexibility, softness and resistance, the recommended cap focuses its characteristics on the fact that it configures a kind of balaclava, which mostly covers the head, up to the neck, with the exception of the user's face, so that two mouthpieces are defined therein, one of adaptation to the neck, which closes elastically on the same, with absolute tightness, and another that frames the face partially covering the forehead and the chin and leaving its lateral edges sharply offset forward with respect to the ears, so that this frontal mouthpiece of the hat, by its own configuration tending to the circle , in turn tends to strangle on the face of the user, on which in turn defines a tight coupling that ensures an absolute impossibility of access to water to the majority of the head hidden under the hat.

The special nature of the cap's constituent material, not only makes it perfectly fit the head and ensures the optimum degree of protection mentioned above, but also makes the cap comfortable and comfortable.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the aforementioned figures, it can be seen how the cap that is recommended is constituted from a single piece body (1), materialized in a thin layer of natural latex, formal and dimensionally suitable to cover mostly the user's head (2) , of course affecting both your scalp as well as your ears and extending to the level of your neck (3), so that in the cap that is recommended and against what is conventional, instead of establishing a mouthpiece two openings are established, a lower opening (4) of tight fitting and tight to the neck (3) of the user, and a front opening (5), tending to the circle, whose upper edge (6) is located mid-level at the height of the front of the user (2), whose lateral edges, in correspondence with the reference itself (5), are markedly distanced from the ears (7), which are thus fully protected, and whose lower edge (8) overlaps parci Almente to the chin, for greater stability and greater adjustment of the cap as a whole, so that said cap, as seen especially in Figure 1, leaves only a part of the user's face, in a situation of optimal fixation to the head of the same, ensuring a tight seal both through its mouth (4) corresponding to its neck and its front mouth (5) corresponding to its face, which in turn ensures an absolute impossibility of water, during the bath, can access your ears or hair, also preventing direct access of parasites.
