Abstract

L'invention concerne un système optique conçu pour être mis en application dans un système de projection. Ce système optique, dans un mode de réalisation, comprend un premier élément optique holographique commutable électriquement (ESHOE) et un déflecteur de lumière. Le premier élément optique (ESHOE) fonctionne entre des états actif et inactif et présente des surfaces opposées avant et arrière. A l'état inactif, le premier élément optique (ESHOE) transmet une lumière possédant une première largeur de bande reçue sur la surface avant sans altération importante. A l'état actif, ce premier élément optique (ESHOE) diffracte la lumière reçue sur la surface avant, cette lumière diffractée de première largeur de bande émergeant également de la surface avant. Le déflecteur de lumière reçoit la lumière de première largeur de bande diffractée par le premier élément optique. En réaction, ce déflecteur de lumière défléchit la lumière diffractée de première largeur de bande. Le premier élément optique et le déflecteur de lumière sont placés de sorte que la lumière de première largeur de bande transmise à travers le premier élément optique (ESHOE) inactif sans altération importante peut éclairer une première zone de surface, tandis que la lumière de première largeur de bande diffractée par le premier élément optique (ESHOE) actif et défléchie ensuite par le déflecteur de lumière peut éclairer une deuxième zone de surface ne chevauchant pas la première zone de surface.
