Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'enraciner ou de greffer une plante contenant dans son génome un gène, placé sous la régulation d'un promoteur inductible, codant pour un produit inhibant l'enracinement ou pour un produit conduisant à une inhibition de l'enracinement. Ce procédé consiste à traiter la plante, avant production d'une bouture ou d'une greffe, ou de traiter la bouture ou le greffage, après leur production, au moyen d'une substance qui, ou bien stoppe l'effet du gène inhibant l'enracinement, ou/et permet l'expression d'un second gène du même genre, présent dans la plante, se trouvant sous la régulation d'un promoteur inductible, et dont le produit d'expression stoppe l'effet du gène inhibiteur d'enracinement. l'invention concerne, en outre, une plante transgénique, pourvue d'un mécanisme d'inhibition d'enracinement et d'un mécanisme qui stoppe l'inhibition d'enracinement, ainsi qu'un ADN chimère destiné à réaliser l'arrêt de l'inhibition d'enracinement.
