Abstract

The invention relates to petrochemistry and more particularly to methods of processing oil which can be used in refineries to increase the depth of said oil processing. The inventive process includes several traditional processing stages such as dehydration and desalination of crude oil, direct distillation in order to obtain gasoline fractions, vacuum distillation which enables kerosene, diesel and fuel oil fractions fuel oil to be obtained, in addition to an inventive secondary processing stage, whereby secondary processing stage consists in a preliminary oil processing after the stages of dehydration and desalination, said secondary stage including a treatment with inorganic basic or acid solutions at a temperature between 100 and 150°C during 0.1 to 2.0 hours.
