Abstract

A method and device for suspending flat, flexible objects (3) for display and distribution purposes, whereby said objects, especially plastic sheets or bags (3), have the same length and are placed in a pile. The two edges (5,6) of each object differing in size from said length are placed in a flat position in the pile and are brought into line with the corresponding edges of the other objects. One of the ends (6B) of each object is grasped in order to remove said objects one by one. The other end (5b) is used to suspend the object, wherein the suspending ends are held in such a way that the edges thereof (5) are brought substantially in line with each other on a plane (5A). The edges which are to be grasped (6) are left hanging. The pile is then subjected to at least one change of direction, between the edges which are to be grasped and the edges which are used for suspension purposes, whereby the edge of the object which is to be grasped protrudes from one surface (12) of the pile in relation to the next end in the pile which is to be grasped and so on. The surface (2) with the outermost protruding edge to be grasped becomes the first object to be grasped.
