Abstract
A device for exchanging heat and material between two flowing, gaseous fluids. Said device (1) comprises at least one flow channel (2) and at least one inlet and outlet (4, 5) for the first fluid communicating with the flow channel. The inventive device also comprises at least one other flow channel (3) and at least one inlet and outlet (6, 7) for a second fluid communicating with said flow channel, in addition to a common separating wall (8, 8') for both fluids, separating both fluids and flow channels (2, 3). The separating wall (8, 8') forms at least one part of the wall defining the flow channels (2, 3). At least one section of the flow channel (8, 8') is gas-permeable and at least one section of the separating wall (8, 8') is configured in such a way that it allows for an indirect exchange of heat between both fluids. The invention also relates to a method for operating said device.
