Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nouveau processus de préparation de composés pharmaceutiquement actifs et des intermédiaires de ceux ci. Le(-) trans isomère de 4-(4'-fluorophényl)-3- (3',4'-méthylènedioxyphénoxyméthyle) piperidine (paroxétine) est un composé important qui possède des propriétés antidépressives et des propriétés qui permettent de lutter contre les effets de la maladie de Parkinson. Ce composé est utilisé en thérapie sous forme de sel d'hydrochlorure pour traiter, entre autres choses, la dépression, les troubles compulsifs obsessionnels et les crises de panique. Cette invention décrit un processus amélioré de cette préparation qui évite plusieurs étapes d'isolation et de purification nécessaires jusqu'à présent.
