Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire des substrats en verre pour supports d'information, qui comprend les étapes suivantes : produire une feuille de verre par étirage ou par float ; munir la feuille de verre d'une couche protectrice ; séparer la feuille de verre en plaques de verre individuelles à l'aide d'un dispositif de découpe au laser ou à l'aide d'un dispositif de découpe mécanique ; découper ou percer un ou plusieurs substrats en verre pour supports d'information électroniques dans les plaques de verre, les propriétés superficielles de la feuille de verre obtenue par étirage ou par float étant maintenues dans une large mesure à chacune des étapes de traitement individuelles prévues pour obtenir un substrat de verre pour supports d'information.
