Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft durch UV-Strahlung härtbare Beschichtungsmittel auf Acrylatbasis, die zur Beschichtung von Holzbauteilen geeignet sind. Das Beschichtungsmittel enthält 5 bis 80 Gew.% Acrylatharze; 5 bis 75 Gew.% eines Reaktivverdünners; 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% eines Thixotropiermittels; 0,1 bis 10 Gew.% eines Photoinitiators und 0,05 bis 20 Gew.% Additive. Geschützt ist auch das Verfahren zur Herstellung von Überzügen. In diesem werden 4 bis 8 Schichten in einem Warmspritzverfahren auf vorkonfektionierte Holzteile aufgetragen und mittels UV-Strahlung gehärtet. Wesentlich ist, dass die beschichteten Bauteile nach der Endhärtung emissionsarm sind und VOC-Werte (volatile organic compounds) von < 100 ppm aufweisen. Diese liegen weit unter den für die bekannten Polyesterlacke üblichen Werten.
