  • This drawback causes a problem of aesthetic order because the crackings are not acceptable for quality and aesthetic reasons as well as a technical problem because said crackings may lead to passage of water that in turn may cause swelling or detachment of the tablets from the support.

  • the invention aims at carrying out a method of producing wings of faced wood having vertical grain for the face and the tablets forming the vertical sides of the wing but horizontal grain for the tablets arranged transversally, in which presence of crackings between tablets or between tablets and base support are totally avoided.

  • the application of a layer of material on the surface on sight of each tablet, whether made of wood or any other material having in any case imprinted the wood grain allows to obtain a visual effect fully identical to the effect that could be obtained if the tablet or the face of the wing would be made of real wood. Moreover a precise and quick assembly of the tablets constituting the wing frame is obtained.
  • the sheet of facing material such as a polymeric PVC sheet or a paper impregnated with melaminic resin so that the sheet may adhere without a break on the entire surface of the tablets and the support as well as on the wing edges. This occurs without any problem and above all without possibility of generating slits between tablets or between a tablet and the support plane of the wing.

  • the sheet of facing material 6 is neutral, that is without imprints of wood grain, because the grain is already made on the assembled wing.
  • the wings may be provided with imprints of grain of various types of wood, such as ash, walnut, cherry tree, chestnut, pinewood, teak or other exotic woods.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'ailes en bois revêtu présentant un plan support (1) fait d'une matière première telle qu'un aggloméré, un MDF ou un produit similaire, et plusieurs planches (2,3,4,5) formant un cadre sur ledit support. Le procédé consiste à couper aux dimensions le plan support et les planches adaptés pour recevoir le cadre de l'aile. Le procédé consiste ensuite à appliquer sur chaque planche et sur le plan support une couche d'une matière présentant un grain en relief d'un type de bois choisi; à assembler les planches de manière à obtenir une aile achevée; et à appliquer par encollage une feuille de revêtement sur la partie visible et les bords de l'aile.
