Description
A Method and a Line for Granulated Tea Production
Technical Field
The present invention is related to the tea production particularly to various 5. methods and devices of granulated tea production and could be used at the tea factories.
Background Art
The granulated black tea production method is well known which comprises crumbling of half-finished black tea, sorting of the obtained mass, mixing it with
10. small kinds of tea (sifting, crumbling), mixture dosage, its moistening with (sugar) saccharin aqueous solution, mixing, granulation with squeeze through fillers, granulate forming, drying, cooling and soring.
It is also known the line for granulated tea production which comprises: a mixing drum, a metering bin, a tank with moistening solution, a mixer (stirring), a
15. pelletizer with fillers and a knife, means for granule forming, a dryer, a cooling grid conveyer, and a sorting device, which are consequently mounted and connected with each other by belt conveyers in technological process (1).
Defect of the given method and lines is relatively low quality of the finished production and high electric power expenditure. The present invention gives the 20. possibility to increase quality of the finished production and the electric power reduction.
Disclosure of Invention
In accordance with to the present invention the method of the granulated tea production comprises dosing of the initial tea mass, its moistening with ah ot water ' having temperature 65®- 99^C where alkaline food additions and/or extract pectin are involved, mixing, granulation with squeezing, through fillers, swelling of the
pressed tea mass, granule obtaining by drying, cooling by blowing the conditioned air, granules forming and sorting.
The line of the granulated tea production contains consequently mounted in
5. technological process and connected with each other by belt - conveyer the metering bin, a tank with moistening solution and a heater, a mixer, a pelletizer with fillers and a knife, in each hole of the last filler from the side of the knife there is a dilator of the conic form, the inclination angle of which to the hole axis is 450 - 60O C, and the length 25- 30 % of the hole length, a dryer, a device for
10. granule cooling, representing a conditioner with a ventilators connected with the air duct from the side of the belt-conveyer, mounted after dryer, granule former and sorting device.
Method of the granulated tea production comprises: mixing of the preliminary cut tea parts up to 0.01 - 0.02 mm and sorting half-finished black and green tea
15. with small kinds of tea (sifting, crumbling), for instance 1:1, afterwards dosing of the mass with a metering bin, preparing the water by heating it up to 65^ - 99^C, where 2 - 12% of alkaline food additions or/and 8% of extract pectin are carrying in; moistening of the dosed tea mass with the obtained hot solution and mixing. Granulation of the homogeneous tea mass in pelletizer where squeezing is through
20. the fillers , swelling of the pressed tea mass in the holes of the last filler; drying of the obtained granules on vibrating chute with infra - red bulbs; cooling of the hot, dry granules on the belt-conveyer, blowing, from the lateral side with a conditioned air. Afterwards the granule forming is performed on the roller and sorting the obtained seed form granules.
25. The present invention is described by way with reference to the accompanying drawings where:
Figure 1 illustrates the scheme of the granulated tea production;
Fig.2 shows the schematic depictipn of the granulating mill in section; Fig.3 - the last filler with a dilatojl of the conic form.
5. The granulated tea production1 line contains consequently mounted in technological process the mincer 1 of the half-finished tea, which through the mill 2, belt -conveyer 3 and the bunker 4ϊ is connected with the sorting device 5, with the belt-conveyer 6 it is connected tø the mixer 7,which in its turn with the belt- conveyer 8 is connected with the metering bin 9. The mixer 10 is located under the
10. metering bin, with the pipe-line 11 it is connected with the tank 12 of the moistening matter and the heater" 13. The pelletizer 14 is mounted under the mixer 10. The pelletizer 14 (see fig.2) consists of a body 15, an auger 16 mounted ϊti it, filler 17,18, 19 and the cutting knife 20, having individual engine. In each hole of the last filler 19 from the side of the knife 20, there is a dilator of the conic form,
15. the inclination angle of inner wall to the hole axis complies 45^ - όO^C and the length 25 - 30% of the hole's length. The dryer 22 is mounted after the pelletizer 14. It is a vibrating chute equipped with quartz infra-red bulbs, the dryer 22 through belt-conveyer 23 is connected with the rolling granules former 24, which is connected with the sorting device 25. The line is additionally supplied with a
20. device 26 for granules cooling, which is a conditioner with the ventilators^ connected with air dust with the side of the belt-conveyer 23. The line of the granulated tea production works as follows:
All kinds of black and green tea raw material are given to the mincer 1, where the mass is cutting up to 10 - 12mm, afterwards the mass is put to the mill 2 where
25. is cut up to 0.01 -1.2mm and with a belt-conveyer 3 through the bunker 4 is given to the sorting device 5. The obtained large fraction is coming back to the mill 2, and the small fraction by the belt-conveyer 6 is gone to the mixer 7, where it is mixed with the small tea kinds (sifting, crumbling), for instance the ratio as
follows: 50% of the cutting mass, 40% of the crumbled black tea, 10% of the
5. crumbled green tea. The obtained mixture with the belt-conveyer is loaded to the metering bin 9, where it is dosed passing the mixer 10. From the tank 12 the moistening matter is put to the heater 13, where it is heated up to 65^ - 99O c and through the pipe-line 11 comes to the mixer 10. Simultaneously to the vessel 12 preliminary prepared solution of the alkaline food additions and/or extract pectin is
10. given. The moistening and the intensive mixing is done in the mixer 10. The obtained moistening mixture comes to the pelletizer 14 from the mixer 10. In pelletizer 14 with the auger 16 pressing through the holes filler 17, 18, 19 is undergone to the mechanical plasticization and in a dilator of the conic form 21 of the last filler 19 holes the swelling of the pressed tea mass happens and
15. subsequently cutting by a knife 20 upon the particles of 2 - 2.5mm. The obtained granules come into the dryer 22 from the pelletizer 14, where they are mixed on the vibrating chute and dried under the infra - red bulbs. The dry hot granules coming from the dryer 22 come to the belt-conveyer 23 where from the side of the device 26 for granules cooling with their air duct, the condensed cold air is given. The
20. cooled granules come to the former 24 which is the roller where the granules got the round shapes. Formed granules of the sorting device 25 are sorted upon their sizes. The small fraction is turned back to the mattering bin 9 or to the mixer 7, the remained part represents the finished products of the granulated tea.
The present invention gives the possibility to increase the quality of the
25. finished production and to decrease the electric reduction. Introduction of the alkaline food additions into hot water gives the possibility to regulate the extraction and color of the finished product and extract pectin addition supplies the stability of the granules structure.
