Abstract

A system (1)and a method for cleaning a screen (2), having multiple apertures, the system(1) characterised by including at least one high pressure nozzle unit(3), the nozzle unit(3) having at least one nozzle, capable of generating an ultrasonically stimulated, high velocity fluid jet(5), and directing the fluid jet(5) at the apertures to dislodge particles blinding apertures during a screening process.
