Abstract

L'invention concerne un capteur destiné à quantifier le débit ou la viscosité d'un échantillon fluidique, ou la concentration d'un analyte dans cet échantillon fluidique. Ce capteur comprend une chambre destinée à loger un échantillon fluidique et à le guider à travers un canal contenant un dispositif de détection. Cette chambre comprend au moins une et de préférence deux variations de diamètre entraînant des changements détectables dans l'écoulement de l'échantillon dans la chambre et dans les mesures du dispositif de détection. Les dimensions de la chambre étant connues, on peut calculer le débit et la viscosité de l'échantillon fluidique. Ces résultats peuvent alors être utilisés pour calculer la concentration d'un analyte, directement ou indirectement, en dépit de toute dépendance de débit du dispositif de détection.
