Abstract

Compositions de désoxydation et procédés en deux étapes servant à désoxyder l'acier en fusion afin d'obtenir des produits plus purs, à des coûts limités, qu'avec les technologies de désoxydation classiques à base d'aluminium et de silicium. Une première composition de désoxydation est exempte d'aluminium élémentaire et abaisse la teneur en oxygène d'abord par la conversion de carbone en oxyde de carbone, ainsi qu'avec la conversion de silicium en oxyde de silicium. Une deuxième composition de désoxydation ajoutée ultérieurement abaisse la teneur en oxygène à un niveau extrêmement souhaitable, tout en produisant moins d'impuretés d'alumine que les techniques actuelles.
