Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé d'obtention de particules métalliques colloïdales à partir d'une solution de rejets miniers aqueux contenant un métal sous forme d'ions selon lequel ladite solution, amenée à un pH compris entre environ 4,0 et environ 6,5, est électrisée avec un courant compris entre environ 1,2 et environ 2,0 V pour réduire les ions du métal désiré à l'état de particules métalliques colloïdales. On ajoute ensuite en agitant à la solution colloïdale une boue de particules de cellulose puis un floculant pour former un floculât cellulosique en phase solide contenant le colloïde, puis on sépare les phases liquide et solide, puis on sèche et fluxe la phase solide que l'on porte à une température suffisante pour faire fondre le flux et le colloïde de manière à former de grosses particules métalliques pouvant être récupérés. Le métal colloïdal est de préférence de l'or.
