Abstract

A process for preparing modified plastic granules for making biodegradable plastic film which can be disposed quickly comprises of compounding different carbohydrates(starches) with polymeric additives at elevated temperature and feeding this compounded batch with plastic granules in a specially designated extruder to prepare modified granules. The modified granules can be used to prepare a biodegradable polymeric film after feeding these granules to a normal extruder.
