Abstract

This invention relates to multicompartment foil packages made from one or two foils sealed on their three or four side and used for packing together solid materials and/or materials in bulk to be used simultaneously. Such packages can be used for packing compound and elements in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries, since they are hygienic, preserving or sterile and ecologically clean means of packing. The multicompartment foil package sealed on its three sides along one vertical and two horizontal edges, provided with two to four compartments for packing (1) from foil (5) folded unilaterally by sealing it in the middle by means of longitudinal or transversal strips (3) or by longitudinal sealing of its lateral edges (4).

Description

MULTICOMPARTMENT FOIL PACKAGES
HELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to multicompartment foil packages made from one or two foils sealed on their three or four side and used for packing together solid materials and/or materials in bulk to be used simultaneously. Such packages can be used for packing compounds and elements in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries, since they are highly hygienic, preserving or sterile and ecologically clean means of packing.
PRIOR ART
A package closed by twisting its ends and made from brown paper is known. It is consisting of a wrapping sheet which may be made from pieces of foil to be closed by twisting them twice on both sides of the object to be packed. The wrapping sheet has a protective lining on one side of each piece of foil laid along two transversal strips forming the ends of the piece of foil.
A disadvantage of this package is that it is intended for packing sugar products and confectionery the shape of which should be preserved but it is difficult to use it for packing substances in bulk and for packing together products of a fixed shape and substances in bulk. / BG 103 313/
A package to be used for objects subject to sterilization such as surgical instruments and products is also known. It consists of a plastic sheet and another sheet of flexible material. The second sheet may be a paper-like materials consisting of separate fibres. The first and second sheets are provided with lateral closing parts connected one with the other. In this body followed closely by the first sheet there is a cavity adapted to preserve the products and closed by the second sheet adapted to allow the penetration of gases through it and provided with a protruding part above the place of connection with a view to allowing its opening and peeling of some of its parts. A disadvantage of this package is the solid plastic body requiring to conform to well- determined volumes in case of additional packaging and the impossibility to wrap separately every sterilized object. Since the whole package is torn, it is necessary to use all the objects in it within a relatively short period of time. /US P 4630728/
A single-compartment foil package sealed on its three sides along a vertical and two horizontal edges and consisting of one main compartment for packing materials in bulk and of connecting strips along which the packing material is sealed.
A disadvantage of this solution is the impossibility to pack together different materials or products in bulk or various goods used simultaneous or for the same purpose in a way to make easy their simultaneous use and consequently, their sale together as a set.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The purpose of the solution submitted for patent protection subject of this invention is the production of a multicompartment foil package allowing to pack together objects or products of a fixed shape or in bulk or liquids.
The essence of the invention is the design of a universal multicompartment foil package sealed on its three sides along one vertical and two horizontal edges thus forming two to four compartments for packing from foil folded unilaterally by sealing it in the middle by means of longitudinal or transversal strips or by longitudinal sealing of its lateral edges.
The compartments of the multicompartment foil package are formed by bilateral folding of the foil.
A multicompartment foil package of two to seven compartments of two single layer or multilayer foils sealed in the middle by means of symmetrical or asymmetrical strips situated longitudinally or transversal ly, the lateral edges being sealed transversally or longitudinally along all four edges.
A multicompartment package made from plastic, propylene, polyethylene or metallized single layer foil or paper sheets.
A multicompartment package made from transparent foil.
A multicompartment package made from waterproof, heatproof and light-resistant foil. A multicompartment package of which one of the two foils is a transparent one.
The package is made from a material representing flexible plastic foil or paper sheets.
Use of the multicompartment foil package as a means of packing medical or pharmaceutical products.
Use of the multicompartment foil package as a means of packing together foodstuffs and cutlery.
Use of the multicompartment foil package as a means of packing together tools and their accessories.
Use of the multicompartment foil package as a means of packing together of products in bulk or liquids and products of a fixed shape.
Use of the multicompartment foil package as a means of advertisement and more precisely as an ads panel.
The advantages of this invention consists in that the design of the multicompartment foil package subject of this invention submitted for patent protection allows: to manufacture a multifunctional package for packing and use of materials and objects of a fixed shape and substances in bulk. It is possible to manufacture such multicompartment package by using relatively valuable and reclaimed raw materials. It may consist of one or two sealed sheets of flexible plastic material, polypropylene, metallized foil or paper; to choose the type of packing, e.g. protective, sealed or vacuum sealed; to choose the type of foil depending on the kind, characteristics and requirements for the goods to be packed.
The multicompartment foil package subject of this invention: allows to pack together products of different kinds for one and the same or simultaneous use such as cutlery and spices, tools and fasteners, medical instruments and dressings; enables to pack again objects that have been used once; enables the user to choose to use the content of only one compartment without to tear the other compartments of the package thus being possible to use it (them at a moment convenient to the user and in conditions favourable thereto. The multicompartment foil package subject of this invention are multifunctional, considerably cheaper, efficient and ecologically clean.
