Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés à assurer l'authenticité de biens de consommation ainsi que de produits transférés à un tiers. Dans une réalisation, on établit, au point de fabrication, un enregistrement d'authenticité associé à un bien. Cet enregistrement d'authenticité comprend un code article et un numéro d'enregistrement unique pour cet article. Une base de données Internet permet de stocker les données d'authenticité. Lors de l'achat d'un article ou d'un bien, le propriétaire de l'article accède à la base de données et il lui est remis un second numéro d'enregistrement, différent du premier numéro délivré au point de fabrication. Le propriétaire peut s'enregistrer comme le propriétaire légitime de biens authentiques en entrant le nouveau numéro d'enregistrement et un code article ainsi que d'autres informations. Ces informations sont stockées dans la base de données Internet concernant le bien en délivrance. Le système permet aussi d'assurer que tout bien transféré en titre à un tiers est un article authentique et d'indiquer, à ce tiers, les informations concernant l'article.
