  • the width of a conductor used in a heating element is greater than 0.4 mm. This minimum conductor width ensures that the heating element can readily receive and transport DC electrical energy of less that 50 volts. These specified dimensions of the heating element conductor also ensures that the heating element has a high structural strength and integrity, allowing it to resist damage from accidental knocks or impacts when transported.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil chauffant (80) comportant, d'une part au moins deux bornes de raccordement (83, 84, 86) permettant le raccordement à une alimentation électrique de moins de 50 V, d'autre part au moins un élément chauffant (81, 82) fait d'un conducteur d'au moins 0,4 mm de diamètre, et enfin une enveloppe conçue pour renfermer au moins partiellement les éléments chauffants (81, 82). L'enveloppe sert de support aux éléments chauffants (81, 82) qu'elle maintient en place. L'enveloppe est faite de préférence d'un matériau souple par essence de façon que l'appareil chauffant (80) soit facile à transporter et de construction robuste.
