Abstract

La présente invention concerne des dispositifs et procédés de détection et de contrôle de la concentration, du niveau ou de la quantité d'une molécule cible dans une solution. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne des détecteurs évaluant des changements de conductivité produits par la réaction d'une molécule cible avec une composition de détection. L'invention est particulièrement appropriée pour déterminer la concentration de composés d'hydrates de carbone dans une solution, tels que des composés diols, de préférence des diols cis biologiquement importants tels que différents sucres, y compris le glucose. L'invention concerne également des détecteurs permettant de déterminer la quantité totale ou relative d'une molécule cible dans un échantillon, en particulier un échantillon biologique tel que le sang, l'urine ou d'autres liquides organiques. Un détecteur stratifié selon l'invention comprend une composition de détection appliquée sur une électrode métallique telle qu'une électrode en or interdigitée ou un support non conducteur. La composition de détection et l'électrode sont de préférence entourées d'une membrane bipolaire. Dans un mode de réalisation préférée, la composition de détection est formée d'un mélange de polymère d'acide borique et d'une matrice d'hydrogel non ionogène.
