Abstract

Hydraulic speed governor of the variable-pitch propeller consists of the mounting flange (1) and body (2) containing the gear pump (3) with the driving wheel (4) and driven wheel (5). Fitted through the center of the driving gear (4) is the rotating slide-valve (7) with the supporting disc (9), centrifugal speed controller (10) and speed selector (11). In the axis of the driven wheel (5) is the reducing valve (15) whose sleeve (18) forms the shaft of the driven wheel (5), and the discharge channel (25) of the reducing valve (15) is connected with the internal inlet (26) of the gear pump (3) in the body (2). This configuration allows a significant reduction of the body weight (2) and therefore of the entire hydraulic controller weight and dimensions.
