Die vordere Stutzwulst 2 steckt in der Nasenspitze, genauer gesagt, sie stutzt sich am grossen Nasenflugelknorpel 64 ab. Auf diese Weise ist der Nasenformer rutschsicher gehalten und von aussen nicht sichtbar. Die Nase jedoch hat ihre Form wesentlich verändert, wurde sie doch angehoben und wirkt nun von der Frontalen aus gesehen kurzer und geradliniger.
