Abstract

Un élément chauffant en couche épaisse pour un récipient de chauffe-eau est fixé au fond du récipient, une couche de dispersion de chaleur en cuivre ou en aluminium étant placée entre le fond du récipient et l'élément chauffant en couche épaisse et s'étendant latéralement au-delà des bords dudit élément chauffant en couche épaisse. La taille de l'élément chauffant en couche épaisse est moitié moins importante que celle d'un élément chauffant en couche épaisse classique (environ 60 mm par rapport à 110 mm), son coût est ainsi réduit proportionnellement, et sa densité de puissance est au moins deux fois supérieure (60W/cm2 contre 30 W/cm2) bien qu'il ne génère par de bruit excessif quand il est en marche.
