Abstract
Description
PapierlocherPaper punch
Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates to a paper punch with a lower part and a pivotally mounted on lateral bearing blocks of the lower part, which is guided on the lower part and is guided against the restoring force of a spring pressure lever.
In known paper punches of this type, the pressure lever usually consists of a sheet metal part or a cast part which is mounted on the bearing blocks by means of an axle shaft and which additionally has a web arranged at a distance from the pivot axis or a pressure piece for power transmission to the spring-supported punch. The web or the pressure pieces serve as stabilizing elements that absorb the punch forces that occur during the punching process. The construction and assembly effort required for this is felt to be disadvantageous.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to develop a hole punch which has a particularly simple, assembly-friendly structure.
To achieve this object, the features specified in claim 1 are proposed. Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the dependent claims.
The solution according to the invention is based on the idea that a particularly simple punch construction is made possible in that the pressure lever has a U-shaped wire bracket which has two bracket legs connected to one another via a rear bracket web, by means of a bearing point arranged at the free ends of its bracket legs on a nem of the pedestals is supported and with its bracket legs at a distance from the bearing point lies directly against a rear end face of the punch. A particular advantage of this construction is seen in the fact that both the bearing points and the pressure points that absorb the stamp forces are integrated in the wire bracket . The wire bracket suitably consists of a curved round wire.
Furthermore, this construction allows a largely free design of the pressure lever, for example by at least partially bridging the free space delimited by the strap web and the two strap legs by a separate cover part. The cover part is expediently designed as a plastic molded part which can be snapped onto the wire bracket. For this purpose, the wire bracket has latching notches on its bracket legs, while the cover part is provided with latching elements which can be latched into the latching notches of the wire bracket. The cover part can also have a locking function which ensures that when the cover part is snapped on, the wire bracket is also securely locked to the bearing blocks. For this purpose, the cover part has a locking section which overlaps the bearing point of the wire bracket.
A further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the bearing blocks have bearing journals facing one another or a plug-in axis for receiving one of the bearing points of the wire bracket.
A particularly simple assembly of the wire bracket on a bearing journal or on a thru-axle is made possible in that the bearing points are formed by part-circular, open-edge bends on the bracket legs. In principle, however, it is also possible to form the bearing points by bow ends bent by approximately 90 °, which engage in corresponding bearing eyes of the bearing blocks. It is also possible that the stirrup legs are flat-stamped at their free ends and that the bearing points are designed as bearing eyes for the passage of a bearing pin or a plug-in axle.
Another preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the bearing blocks, which are preferably in the form of bent sheet metal or stamped parts, are delimited by an inwardly bent edge, each of which has an open edge notch for receiving one of the stirrup legs. The pedestals expediently each have a holding anchor that engages under the base part of the punch. A particularly stable construction is obtained when the pedestals are integrally connected to one another by a mounting web that can be fastened to a base part of the punch, the mounting web and the base part forming an insertion slot for the documents to be punched which the punches can penetrate. The assembly web can be riveted, welded, soldered or glued to the base part, with the holding anchors having an additional holding function between the two parts, which prevent the insertion slot from spreading open even in the case of heavy perforations.

The paper punch shown in FIGS. 1a and b essentially consists of a bottom part 12 which can be closed on the bottom side by a collecting trough 10 for punched-out paper chips, two rigidly fixed at a lateral distance from one another on the bottom part 12, with the bottom part 12 an insertion slot 14 for the hole to be punched Lateral bearing pedestals 16 delimiting documents and a pressure lever 24, which is pivotably mounted on the bearing pedestals 16 and can be pivoted about the axis 18 and acts on the lower part against the restoring force of one spring 22. The pressure lever 24 has a bent from a round wire, U-shaped wire bracket 26, which has two bracket legs 30 connected to one another via a rear bracket web 28. The wire bracket is mounted on one of the bearing blocks 16 by means of a bearing point 32 arranged on the free ends 39 of its bracket legs 30 and lies with its bracket legs 30 at a distance from the bearing point 32 against a rear end face 34 of the punch 20. The wire bracket 26 consists of a curved Round wire, the bearing points 32 are formed by open-edged bends on the bracket legs 30. At a distance from the bend 32 there is a transverse notch 36 with which the stirrup legs 30 bear against the punch 20. The bearing blocks 16 have mutually facing bearing journals 38 for receiving one of the bearing points 32 of the wire bracket 26. As can be seen from Fig. 2, the wire bracket 26 is inserted during assembly in the direction of arrow 40 with the free ends of its bracket legs 30 in the area between the respective journal 38 and the punch 20 and then pivoted so that the bend 32nd bears against the bearing pin 38, the free projecting leg end 39 bears against a stop 42 located on the respective bearing block 16 and the transverse notch 36 is supported against the end face 34 of the respective punch 20.
The free space 44 delimited by the strap web 28 and the two strap legs 30 is bridged by a separate cover part which is designed as a molded plastic part and which is snapped onto the wire bracket 26. For this purpose, the wire bracket 26 has a latching notch 48 on each of its bracket legs, while the cover part is provided with latching elements 50 which can be latched into the latching notches 48.
The cover part 46, each with a locking section 52 which overlaps the bearing points 32 and the bearing pins 38, ensures that the wire bracket can no longer be released from its pivot bearing when the cover part is latched on. Furthermore, deflectors 54 are arranged on the cover part 46, which ensure that no undesirable pinching occurs between the pressure lever 24 and the bearing blocks 16.
The bearing blocks 16, which are preferably in the form of stamped sheet metal parts, are delimited by an inwardly bent edge 56, each of which has an open-edge notch 58 for the passage of one of the stirrup legs. The notch 58 is delimited at least on one side by a stop edge 60 designed as an end stop for the relevant bracket leg 30. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the bearing blocks 16 are connected to one another in one piece by a mounting web 64 which can be fastened to a base part 62 of the lower part 12, the mounting web 64 and the base part 62 delimiting the insertion slot 14 for the paper to be punched. Furthermore, the bearing blocks 16 each have a holding armature 66 which engages under the base part 62 of the punch, which ensures that the insertion slot 14 is not bent open in the case of heavy perforations. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the mounting web 64 is connected to the base part 62 both via the lateral holding anchors 66 and via rivets which extend through the bores 68.
In summary, the following can be stated: The invention relates to a paper punch with a lower part 12 and a punch 20, which is pivotably mounted on lateral bearing blocks 16 of the lower part and acts on the lower part 12 and acts against the restoring force of a spring 22. A particularly simple and easy-to-assemble construction of the paper punch is obtained if the pressure lever 24 has a U-shaped wire bracket which has two bending legs 30 connected to one another via a rear bracket web 28. The wire bracket 26 is mounted on one of the bearing blocks 16 by means of a bearing point 32 arranged at the free ends of its bracket legs 30 and lies with its bracket legs 30 at a distance from the bearing point 32 directly against a rear end face 34 of the punch. The free space delimited by the strap web 28 and the two strap legs 30 can be at least partially bridged by a separate cover part 46, preferably made of plastic.
