Abstract

L'invention concerne un amortisseur de chute à sangle servant à réduire les forces d'amortissement d'une chute. L'amortisseur de chute selon l'invention comporte une sangle (10) jointe par entrelacement dans une zone (14, 15) partant de ses extrémités (12, 13) et présente des éléments (24) de raccordement à une ceinture d'arrêt et, à chaque extrémité, des éléments (20, 21) de fixation à un point d'arrêt ou à un élément de raccordement, de sorte que l'entrelacement se défait en cas de chute. L'amortisseur de chute selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que la sangle (10) est formée en anneau (16) grâce à l'entrelacement et en ce que les zones (14, 15) partant des extrémités (12, 13) se chevauchent sur une partie de la circonférence de l'anneau et sont jointes à l'intérieur de ce chevauchement (18) par l'entrelacement.
