Abstract
The press unloading mechanism according to the invention solves the problem of safe, easy and full unloading of the charge from the press chamber. The set of the unloading cylinder (7) works together with the slide (6) stretching the flexible connector (1), and through the turn and swerving of the lever (2) makes full unloading of the charge package (5).
Description
Press unloading mechanism
Tliis invention relates to the press unloading mechanism especially used in the scrap crushing and baling press.
There are .known different structure mechanisms used for unloading the pressed elements from the inside of the press chamber. Unloading is most often performed by the back motion of the pressing plate driven by a hydraulic cylinder. After pressing - foπning the charge the hydraulic cylinder of the pressing plate in its motion back drives the unloading mechanism which is a set of levers and flexible connectors. In this phase of work of the unloading mechanism the door of the press chamber is open and the access of an operator(s) of the press is possible both to the pressed charge and to the moving pressing plate. The access to the moving pressing plate is dangerous for people operating the press in the unloading phase. In the final phase of unloading the pressed charge takes the position within the inside of the chamber which causes difficulties and hazard as well as requires additional physical effort to take the charge out of the inside of the chamber.
The task of the invention is to eliminate the hazard to the operating personnel in the phase of unloading and to ensure the full and easy unloading of the charge from the inside of the chamber.
In the solution according to the invention an additional cylinder has been applied that worlcs independently of the pressing cylinder and which is used only for unloading the press.
The press unloading mechanism according to the invention enables the unloading of the charge while the pressing plate is not moving (the plate is driven by the pressing cylinder) and when it is in its top position.
The subject of the invention is shown in the example of execution in the drawing where fig. 1 shows the front view of the press during crushing the charge in the chamber, fig.2 shows the side view of the press before the unloading phase, whereas fig. 3 shows the side view of the press in the final phase of unloading.
The crusliing and baling press with the press unloading mechanism according to the invention in the example of execution is shown in a two-chamber version with the chambers 8 and 9 and the set of the pressing plate K) fixed on the mobile trolley 3.
The press unloading mechanism according to the invention consists of the set of the unloading cylinder 7 the body of which is .fixed on the rear side of the trolley 3, and the movable piston rod is tipped with the catch 7a. The slide 6 works together with the catch 7a through the catch of the slide 6a that is located in its top part. The slide 6 moves in a sliding motion in the guide fixed on the rear wall of the chamber. The lever 2 is connected with the bottom part of the shde όjhrough the joint 2b. The lever 2 has also the cam of the lever 2a tliat works together with the resistance roll 4 fixed on the rear wall of the chamber, and the joint 2c that is connected with the flexible connector 1. The other end of the flexible connector 1 is fixed to the front edge of the bottom of the press chamber.
In the example of execution of the invention the slide 6 is located on each chamber as well as levers and flexible connectors connected with it. The whole press unloading mechanism is located in the rear part of the press. The set of the unloading cylinder 7 worl s together with the appropriate slide 6 of the chamber above which the trolley 3 is cuιτently placed. The press unloading mechanism operates with the press door open when the set of the pressing plate 10 is immovable and is placed in its top position, and the pressed wastes in the foπn of a tied package are on the bottom of the chamber. The set of the unloading cylinder 7 with the movable pi,ston rod and the catch 7a starts the work of the mechanism. The piston rod
going up takes the slide 6 with the catch 7a through the catch 6a. The slide 6 pulls the lever 2 through the joint 2b. The lever 2 in the vertical motion up encouters on its way the resistance in the form of the resistance roll 4 and it reacts on it with the cam of the lever 2a. Duiϊng the motion up the lever 2 turns in the joint 2b swerving to the inside of the chamber and it pulls and stretches the flexible connector 1. The flej ible connector reacting on the charge makes the charge be lifted from the bottom of the chamber and then turned by the angle of approx. 90° and the pressed package of wastes 5 is moved forward out of the chamber. Such work of the press unloading mechanism satisfies the conditions of the full and safe unloading.
The mechanism according to the invention makes it posssible to employ women and disabled people to operate the press owing to the elimination of hazard and facilitating the operation.
Claims
1. The press unloading mechanism consisting of a lever and flexible connectors is characterised with the fact that it is driven with the separate set of the unloading cylinder (7) whose piston rod with the catch (7a) worl s together with the slide (6) through the catch (6a), and the slide (6) through the joint (2b) is connected with the lever (2) which working together with the resistance roll (4) using the cam of the lever (2a) swerves to the inside part of the press chamber (8) by the angle within the limits of 0° to 120°, favourably by the angle of approx. 90°, stretches the flexible connector (1) through the joint (2c and makes the pressed package of the charge (5) be unloaded.
2. The press unloading mechanism according to the claim 1 is characterised with the fact tliat the set of unloading cylinder (7) is fixed on the movable trolley (3) and can work together with different slides (6) placed on individual press chambers (8) and (9).
