Abstract

The device with an orthogonal structure for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position of shelves, uprights, pillars and similar, according to the present invention, comprising a spirit level system which allows a plurality of adjustments without continuously shifting for checking the different sides, consists of a multiple orthogonal structure, comprising a plurality of spirit levels for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position and of the 45° inclination, following to one single installation, so as to allow the exact positioning of any structure to be placed in plane and/or perpendicular.

Description

SPIRIT LEVEL
The present invention concerns a device with an orthogonal structure for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position of shelves, uprights, pilars and similar, comprising a spirit level system which allows a plurality of adjustments without continuously shifting for checking the different sides.
It is well known that many categories of artisans, like smiths, carpenters, masons, installators etc. , continuously make use of spirit levels for checking the horizontal and vertical position, whereby said levels must be continuously shifted, with a considerable time expenditure.
It is the aim of the present invention to reduce the working time, avoiding to check in succession the different positions of the working planes and of the handworks.
The aim set forth is reached by means of the device according to the present invention, consisting of a multiple orthogonal structure, comprising a plurality of spirit levels for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position and of the 4 5 ° inclination, following to one single installation, so as to allow the exact positioning of any structure to be placed in plane and/or perpendicular.
The advantage deriving from the present invention is evident; with respect to the conventional levels, the device according to the present invention also provides the presence of incorporated means for fastening onto the structures, so as to allow the operator to work with his free hands.
The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings in which an embodiment is shown, with installation positions thereof.
Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of a device with an orthogonal structure for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position of shelves, uprights, pillars and similar.
Figures 2, 3 and 4 show the device respectively installed onto a horizontal, an inclined and a vertical plane. Figures 5 and 6 show the device according to the present invention comprising means for the installation onto pillar uprights of a s u r f a c e respectively greater or smaller to the two orthogonal sides of the device.
The enclosed figures show a device with an orthogonal structure for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position of shelves, uprights, pillars and similar, mainly consisting of two parallelepiped elements 1 , 2, linked one to another in an orthogonal position along an edge so as to allow the resting thereof onto any internal or external side, for the check of the horizontal position by means of the incorporated air bubbles 3, of the vertical position by means of the incorporated air bubbles 4 and of the 45° inclination by means of the incorporated air bubbles 5.
In possible variants, the device according to the present invention may be used for the contemporary check of the vertical position of two orthogonal upright sides of pillars P-P1 and, for such a purpose, the present invention provides fastening means which, as shown in figures 5 and 6, may consist of one or more rubber bands 6 or similar, fixed at one end 7 and that may be adjustably hooked at the other end 8, after having enclosed said pillar, so as to allow checks leaving the hands of the worker free.
In particular, in cases in which the device according to the present invention is applied onto pillars P1 of lateral dimensions smaller than the surface of said elements 1 , the present invention provides t h e presence of passing through grooves 9 for the squeezing insertion of said fastening means 6.
In a further variant, the device according to the present invention may be provided inserted by installation onto wall structures, apparatuses or other, so as to periodically check the stability conditions.

Claims

1. A device with an orthogonal structure for the contemporary check of the horizontal and vertical position of shelves, uprights, pilars and similar, comprising a spirit level system which allows a plurality of adjustments without continuously shifting for checking the different sides, characterized in two parallelepiped elements ( 1 , 2), linked one to another in an orthogonal position along an edge so as to allow the resting thereof onto any internal or external side, for the check of the horizontal position by means of the incorporated air bubbles (3), of the vertical position by means of the incorporated air bubbles (4) and of the 45° inclination by means of the incorporated air bubbles (5).
2. A device according to claim 1 , characterized in the presence of fastening means consisting of one or more rubber bands (6) or similar, fixed at one end (7), and that may be adjustably hooked at the other end (8) for the application to pillars and similar.
3. A device according to claim 1 , characterized in the presence, in the structures of elements (1 , 2), of corresponding passing through groves (9) for the insertion of said fastening means (6) for the applica- tion to pillars (P1) having dimensions smaller that the orthogonal surfaces of said elements (1 ).
4. A device according to claim 1 , characterized in that it is firmly installed onto wall structures or apparatuses, so as to allow a periodical check of the stability thereof.
