Abstract

On décrit un procédé de traitement de tissus industriels, tels que des tissus pour machine à papier, dans lequel au moins une surface du tissu, ou des filés, fibres, bandes ou membranes servant à confectionner ledit tissu, est modifiée par rayonnement électromagnétique à haute énergie émanant de lasers excimères ou d'ablation. Ce procédé permet de modifier les propriétés hydrophiles ou hydrophobes de la surface par attaque à l'échelle du micron. Pour ce faire, on peut opérer un masquage sélectif à n'importe quelle échelle voulue.
