Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de notifier à un destinataire qu'un message de courrier électronique ('email') lui ayant été adressé est arrivé à un système de messagerie de courrier électronique. En réponse à un système de messagerie de courrier électronique recevant un message de courrier électronique adressé à un destinataire, ce système de messagerie de courrier électronique transmet un message d'alerte par téléphone à ce destinataire, ce message d'alerte par téléphone indiquant si le message de courrier électronique a été reçu. Un dispositif de notification, situé à l'emplacement du destinataire, détecte ce message d'alerte par téléphone et indique si ce message d'alerte par téléphone a été détecté. Ce dispositif de notification comprend un circuit de détection permettant de détecter un message d'alerte transmis en réponse à la réception dudit message de courrier électronique. Ce dispositif comprend également un circuit indicateur destiné à indiquer si ce message d'alerte a été détecté. Dans un mode de réalisation, ce circuit indicateur comprend un circuit compteur permettant de compter le nombre de messages d'alerte détectés, et un dispositif d'affichage conçu pour afficher le nombre de messages d'alerte par téléphone détectés.
