Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a godet for winding and unwinding fibers or threads.
  • Such godets are known and are used in processes for the production of artificial fibers, e.g. the viscose fiber process used.
  • step godets increases step-wise in one direction from the drive side.
  • steps are thus formed, by means of which the fibers or threads are wound up or unwound.
  • step pallets due to the different diameters of the different steps, the fibers or threads are stretched from step to step.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a godet of the type described in the introduction, which in the event of the above-described malfunction allows the removal of torn threads or fibers which have been tied around the godet.
  • the godet according to the invention is also intended to make it possible to keep the period of time during which the spinning process has to be interrupted in order to remove the threads or fibers wound around the godet.
  • the object of the invention is achieved by a godet, the diameter of which increases step-wise in one direction and which is characterized in that each of the steps formed by the step-wise increase in diameter has a slot which extends in an essentially axial direction over the entire width of the Stage runs.
  • step-shaped increase in the diameter of the steps formed has a slot ⁇ which extends in an essentially axial direction over the entire width of the step.
  • the measure of providing a slot running over the entire width of the step means that the threads or fibers looped around the respective step can simply be severed with a cutting tool at the point at which the slot is located. The severed threads or fibers can then be removed from the godet by hand. This simple removal would not be possible without the presence of a slot through which the cutting tool * can be guided during or after the threads have been cut.
  • the slot should be formed so deep that the above-described easy cutting of the threads or fibers is made possible.
  • the depth of the slot is preferably at least the same size as the height of the step in question or, in the case of the first step with the smallest diameter, as the height of the adjacent step.
  • the slot does not have to run in the completely axial direction across the width of the step, but can also run slightly obliquely. It is essential that the selected slit arrangement enables the threads or fibers to be simply cut through.
  • a slot is provided that extends across the entire width of the godet.
  • This embodiment makes it possible to cut the threads or fibers looped over several stages over the entire width of the godet in the event of a malfunction with only one cut. These threads or fibers can thus be removed in the shortest possible time and, accordingly, the process interruption can be kept short.
  • This preferred embodiment is also easy to manufacture.
  • the lower boundary of the slot has a substantially equal distance from the center of the godet over the entire width of the godet.
  • the lower boundary of the slot can, however, also run in a step shape or obliquely with respect to the center of the godet. This may be necessary, for example, if the godet is partially hollow to save material.
  • the steps preferably each have a plurality of slots, preferably four slots each. In the event of a malfunction, this makes it possible to sever the threads or fibers looped around the steps at several points in order to be able to remove them even more easily from the godet.
  • FIG. 1 shows a cross section of a preferred embodiment of the invention and the right half of FIG. 1 shows a top view of the preferred embodiment.
  • Fig. 2 shows the front view of a preferred embodiment of the invention.
  • the basic structure of the stepped pallet 1 can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the godet has four stages 11, 12, 13 and 14, the diameter of which increases in the direction of stage 14.
  • slots 2, 3, 4 and 5 are provided at substantially the same intervals.
  • the slots 2, 3, 4, 5 extend continuously over the entire width of the godet 1, i.e. from level 11 to level 14.
  • the lower boundary of the slots (indicated here with reference number 21) has essentially the same distance from the center of the godet over the entire width of the godet 1.
  • the depth of the slots 2, 3, 4, 5 is dimensioned such that it is still large enough in the first step 11 with the smallest diameter in order to be able to simply cut through threads or fibers wound around the step.
