Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé qui permet de nettoyer à l'aide de vibrations des liquides contenant des particules étrangères en suspension. Ce procédé permet de nettoyer l'eau, le pétrole, des carburants liquides, des lubrifiants, des huiles alimentaires, des aliments ainsi que des déchets industriels liquides, et d'en éliminer les microparticules dont la taille est supérieure à 0,01 νm. Ce procédé consiste à générer et à maintenir une onde mécanique et qui se propage dans un volume de liquide à nettoyer (2), ladite onde étant obtenue en la générant (3) dans une partie du volume de liquide traité et en l'atténuant artificiellement (4) dans une autre partie de ce même volume. Le liquide est traité tout en maintenant une interface libre dans la zone de propagation de l'onde mécanique, tandis que la fréquence de cette onde est fixée en dessous du spectre acoustique. Ce système permet ainsi de réduire sensiblement la consommation de l'énergie nécessaire au nettoyage d'un liquide qui contient des microparticules étrangères. Cette invention peut être utilisée à grande échelle dans les domaines industriel et ménager.
