技術分野
本発明は、 収穫されたもやしから根を除去してもやしを精製するもやしの 根除去装置に関する。 背景技術
収穫されたもやしには根がついていているが、 その根は少し色づいていて いるため、 商品と してのもやしにとって目障りな存在であった。
また、 もやしはその根の部分から劣化することが多く、 収穫されたもやし から根を除去することが望まれてきた。
しかしながら、 種々雑多な形状をしているもやしから根だけを除去するこ とは極めて困難であり、 また、 もやしの根を除去するため収穫されたもやし に強い外力を加えるともやしに傷をつけ、 もやしをいため易く してしまう。 このためもやしから根を取り除く ことは従来殆ど行われていない。
従来は多量の水を入れた水槽内に収穫されたもやしを浸漬し、 もやしに付着 している殻や滓等の不要物を水洗によって分離して除去するときに付随的に 若干の根が取り除かれるだけであった。
そのため一部では、 人手によってもやしから根を除去することが行われて いるが、 その作業は極めて煩わしく時間のかかる作業であり、 もやしから根 を満足できるまできれいに除去することは殆ど不可能であった。 発明の開示
本発明は、 収穫されたもやしから根を満足できる状態まで除去できるよう にした装置を提供することを課題としている。
また、 本発明は製品もやしに傷をつけたり していため易くすることのない もやしの根除去装置を提供することを課題としている。
本発明は前記した課題を解決するため、 上面に角部を有し移動方向を横切 つて伸びる突条を形成されもやしを載せて移送する底板と、 この底板の上方 に配置され、 下面に角部を有し前記底板との間に所定の少間隙を保って前記 移動方向を横切って伸びる根そぎとり部材とを有し、 その底板と根そぎとり 部材との間に相対移動を与えて前記底板と根そぎとり部材の対面する前記角 部の間でもやしの根をそぎとるように構成したもやしの根除去装置を提供す る。
前記底板は、 一方向に搬送されるコンベアと して構成し、 その上面に互い に間隔を保って取り付けられた複数本の板状体からなる突条を設けたものと してよい。 また前記根そぎとり部材は互いに間隔を保たれた複数本の板状体 で構成されたものとすることができる。
また、 前記根そぎとり部材は前記底板と同方向に同底板より速い速度での 移動と停止を交互に繰り返すように構成することができる。
このように構成された装置の底板の上にもやしを置いて底板によって移送 すると、 もやしの根部分は細くて柔軟性があるため、 その濡れた根部分は底 板上に水の表面張力によつて付着された状態となる。
本発明による装置では、 根部分が底板の上面に付着された状態になって底 板によって移送されているもやしに対して、 その上方で根そぎとり部材が相 対移動を与えられるので、 もやしは頭部分が根そぎとり部材で変位され、 一 方、 根部分は底板とともに移動しょうとするので、 底板と根そぎとり部材の 対面する前記角部が交差するときにその間で根部分がそぎとられることとな る。 このようにしてもやしからその根部分が効果的に切り取り除去される。 以上の作用を模式的に示した図 3を用いて更に説明する。
まず、 図 3の ( a ) において、 上面に角部 2を持ち底板 1の移行方向を横 切って伸びる突条 5が設けられた底板 1の上にもやし Sが載せられて左方向 に搬送されている。 底板 1の上方には下面に角部 3を持つ根そぎとり部材 4 が左方向に底板 1よりも大きい速度で移動している。 従って、 底板 1上のも やしは移動速度の速い根そぎとり部材 4によって図 3の （b ) のように底板 1上を左方向に送られる。
濡れたもやしの根部分は底板 1の表面上に付着していて、 図 3の （c ) の ように、 もやしの頭と茎部分より遅れて底板 1上の突起 5を越える形になる c その状態で突起 5の角部 2と根そぎとり部材 4の角部 3が交差するときに、 図 3の （d ) に示すように両角部 2、 3の間で根部分はそぎとられる。
そぎ取られた根は底板 1の上面に付着した状態のまま底板 1 とともに移動 して行くので、 後の位置で底板 1を水洗してすることにより底板 1の上面か ら取り除く ことができる。 本発明の装置によればこのような原理によっても やしの根を除去することができる。 図面の簡単な説明

以下、 本発明によるもやしの根除去装置を添付した図 1、 図 2に示した一 実施形態により詳細に説明する。
図 1は、 本発明によるもやしの根除去装置の全体図で、 図 2は図 1の装置 に用いられている底板と根そぎとり部材を拡大して示した図面を示している。 これらの図において、 図 1に矢印で示すように送られてくるもやしは、 搔 き揚げコンベア 6によって持ち上げられたのち、 2系列に分けられて、 それ ぞれ、 図 2に示すような底板 1を持つコンベア 7、 8の上に供給される。 コ ンベア 7、 8は実質同じであり図 2によってその構造と作用について説明す る。
底板 1の上面には角部 2を持ち底板 1の移行方向を横切って伸びる （紙面 と直角に伸びる） 複数本の突条 5が移動方向に互いに所定間隔を保って取り 付けられている。 底板 1の上方には突条 5の上面と所定の間隔を保って複数 本の根そぎとり部材 4が移動方向に互いに所定間隔を保って配設されている。 根そぎとり部材 4は角部 3を有している。
ここで、 底板 1の搬送速度は例えば、 2 0 O m m Z秒であり、 一方、 根そ ぎとり部材 4の移動速度は 4 0 0 m m /秒である。 また、 突条 5の厚さは 1 m mで、 突条 5の上面と根そぎとり部材 4の下面との間には 1 m mの隙間が できるように配置されている。 これらの諸数値は一例に過ぎず、 もやしの種 類や処理速度などによって適宜選定すべきである。
根そぎとり部材 4は 4 0 0 m m Z秒の速度による移動と停止を所定時間間 隔で繰り返すように構成されている。 根そぎとり部材 4が停止したとき、 底 板 1上のもやしは根そぎとり部材 4によって底板 1 と共に移動するのが阻止 される。
従って、 底板 1上のもやしは底板 1上を右方向に根そぎとり部材 4によつ て移動される状態となる。
次に、 根そぎとり部材 4が 4 0 O m m Z秒の速度で底板 1の移動と同方向 に移動されると、 根そぎとり部材 4は図 3に示したように底板 1 と相対的に 2 0 0 m m /秒の速度で左方向へ移動される状態となる。
このように根そぎとり部材 4の移動と停止が行われるとき底板 1上の突条 5 と根そぎとり部材 4が交差し、 図 3で説明したもやしの根のそぎとりが行 われる。 このように、 根そぎとり部材 4の移動と停止により底板 1上のもや しは、 突条 5 と根そぎとり部材 4の左右両方の角部で根をそぎ取られること となり、 効率的に根除去がなされる。
以上説明した装置には、 一本のもやししか示されていないが、 底板 1の上 には多数のもやしが載せられ、 その多数のもやしの一本いつぼんに対して前 記した根の切断除去作用が行われる。
以上、 本発明の一実施形態について図面に基づいて具体的に説明したが、 本発明の装置はこの実施形態に制限されるものではなく、 種々の変更を加え てよいことはいうまでもない。
例えば前記した実施形態では、 いずれの角部も 9 0 ° の直角と しているが、 例えば、 根そぎとり部材 4を三角形としその角部を鋭角と してもよい。
また、 搔き上げコンベア 6で持ち上げたもやしは 2系列のコンベア 7、 8 によって根を除去するようにしているが、 3系列以上でもよいし、 1系列で あってもよい。 産業上の利用可能性 .
以上のように、 本発明のもやしの根除去装置においては、 上面に角部をも っ突条つきの底板と、 その上方に配置され下面に角部をもち、 底板との間に 少間隙を保った根そぎとり部材とを設けてその底板と根そぎとり部材との間 に相対移動を与えて両角部の間でもやしの根をそぎとることができる。
このように、 本発明においては、 特殊な複雑な構成の部材を用いずに、 種 々の形をしていて従来除去が極めて困難であったもやしの根を効果的に、 し かも、 もやしを傷めずに取り除く ことができる。 しかも、 本発明の装置は構 造が簡単なので寿命が長く、 保守点検の容易な装置となっている。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲
1. 収穫したもやしの根を除去する装置において、 上面に角部 （ 2 ) を有し 移動方向を横切って伸びる突条 （ 5) を形成されもやしを載せて移送する底 板 （ 1 ) と、 該底板 （ 1 ) の上方に配置され、 下面に角部 （3 ) を有し前 記底板 （ 1 ) との間に所定の少間隙を保って前記移動方向を横切って伸びる 根そぎとり部材 （4 ) とを有し、 前記底板 （ 1 ) と根そぎとり部材 （4 ) と の間に相対移動を与えて前記底板 （ 1 ) と根そぎとり部材 （4 ) の対面す る前記角部 （ 2, 3 ) の間でもやしの根をそぎとるように構成したことを特 徴とするもやしの根除去装置。
2. 前記底板 （ 1 ) がー方向に搬送されるコンベアで、 前記突条 （ 5) が同 コンベアの上面に互いに間隔を保って取り付けられた複数本の板状体であり、 前記根そぎとり部材 （4 ) が互いに間隔を保たれた複数本の板状体で構成さ れている請求項 1記載のもやしの根除去装置。
3. 前記根そぎとり部材 （4 ) が前記底板 （ 1 ) と同方向に同底板 （ 1 ) よ り速い速度での移動と停止を交互に繰り返すように構成されている請求項 1 または 2記載のもやしの根除去装置。
4. 前記突条 （5 ) の厚さが l mm、 前記突条 （5) の上面と前記根そぎと り部材 （4 ) の下面との間に 1 mmの間隔を保って構成されている請求項 1 または 2記載のもやしの根除去装置。 .
