Abstract

The invention concerns an audio and/or video type cassette consisting of a substantially parallelepiped body (1) wherein are located two reels (2, 3) with parallel axis, on one of which is wound a magnetic tape whereof each end is integral with a reel and which can unwind past a window contained in said body (1). Said body (1) comprises a directly mounted identifying and recognising module (10). The invention is applicable in the audio-visual industry.
