Abstract

The invention concerns a method for making medals, plates, jewellery, rings and objects, engraved with lines of portraits, decorations or objects, based on photographs whether of precious metals or not. The method consists in: line block printing from the photograph a negative or positive using a scanner; directly correcting the positive or negative and transforming it on paper for correction; engraving the resulting product to obtain the matrix on a metal plate; moulding, casting and finishing. The treated engraved matrix can also be used directly and it is also possible carry out production in series.
