Abstract

The invention relates to a combination product for the oral administration of antibiotics as an aqueous suspension, comprising a) an active ingredient component in the form of particles coated with a polymeric, permeable coating agent capable of swelling and/or soluble in gastric juice; and b) a syrup base with a pH between 5 and 10 as a second component which is spatially separate from the first component a). The two components are presented in two separate containers packaged in a combined pack in the form of a 'kit of parts'.
