Abstract

La circulation d'air dans une hotte (78) peut être optimisée grâce à la formation de turbulences bistables à l'intérieur de la chambre à turbulences de ladite hotte, indépendamment de la position du volet à guillotine (18). Une hotte bistable permet d'augmenter le captage de la vitesse face et ainsi de réduire le reflux d'air chargé de fumée à travers l'ouverture du volet à guillotine de ladite hotte. Cette hotte à turbulences bistables utilise un système de régulation des turbulences par pression, qui permet de repositionner les ouvertures supérieure, centrale et inférieure (32, 34, 36) d'une chicane située à l'intérieur de ladite hotte. Cette chicane dévie les turbulences bistables lorsque le volet à guillotine est entièrement ouvert, créant ainsi un dégagement à proximité de la surface de travail lorsque l'on referme le volet à guillotine. L'ailette de la hotte (76) est placée à l'intérieur de la chambre de ladite hotte, l'une des entrées de cette ailette soulevant les turbulences avant de les détourner de l'ouverture du volet à guillotine, et l'autre créant un flux qui nettoie la surface de travail de la hotte. La partie intérieure de la chambre à turbulences utilise un déflecteur (65) afin de réduire les pertes dynamiques et d'augmenter la stabilité des turbulences bistables.
