Description

DESCRIPTION
Title of Invention
Automatic controller of outdoor advertizing signboard during sunrise and sunset
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an automatic controller of an outdoor advertizing signboard, a street lamp and a security lamp during sunrise and sunset, in which power on/off switch of such light sources as the outdoor advertizing signboard, the street lamp and the security lamp can automatically be controlled in response to variable sunrise and sunset time period for 365 days so that optimal advertizing effect can timely be achieved by turning on the light sources at sunset time and, at the same time, power consumption can largely be reduced by turning off the light sources at sunrise time.
Background Art
In the prior art, in general, light sources such as an outdoor advertizing signboard, a street lamp and a security lamp are turned on/off by manipulating a switch after determining whether the light sources have to be turned on or off depending on appearance visible to ordinary sight, or by being controlled through a timer device.
As a result, the prior art has a problem that it is difficult to accurately set sunrise and sunset time in case that the switch is manipulated depending on appearance visible to ordinary sight. In addition, it is difficult to set the timer device in response to variable sunrise and sunset time period for 365 days, in case that the light sources are controlled by the timer device. This causes inconvenience that control time of the timer device frequently be corrected. In other words, the prior art has a disadvantage that the timer device continues to be newly set since variable sunrise and sunset time causes some variable corresponding to thirty minutes approximately per one month and to one hour and thirty minutes approximately per three months.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in an effort to solve the above problems. An object of the present invention is to provide an automatic controller of light sources such as an outdoor advertizing signboard, a street lamp and a security lamp during sunrise and sunset. The automatic controller according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The automatic controller according to the present invention, as shown in Fig. 1, includes a central processing unit Ui, a decoder circuit U2, a read only memory(ROM) U3, and a memory circuit U . Data signal outputs POo P0 of the central processing unit Ui are connected to data signal input ports Ao A through the decoder circuit U2. Data signal outputs Oo 0 of the
- ROM U3 are connected to data signal input/output ports ADo AD7 of the memory circuit U4. Address signal outputs P2o P2γ of the central processing unit Ui are connected to address signal input ports As A14 of the ROM U3. Control signal outputs RD, WR, PSEN and ALE/P of the central processing unit Ui are connected to control signal input ports R/W, DS and AS of the memory circuit U4. Input ports TXD and RXD of the central processing unit Ui are connected to a jack JA connected to a computer system in which a program for sunrise and sunset time data for 365 days and a program for time data before and after sunrise and sunset, i.e., second, minute, hour, day, month and year are set. Output ports Plo PI7 of the central processing unit Ui are connected to a switch DIP. The switch DIP is connected to an outdoor advertizing signboard, a street lamp and a security lamp whose power sources are automatically turned on/off in accordance with sunrise and sunset time data input to the memory circuit U4.
Brief Description of Drawings
The foregoing and other objects of the present invention will become apparent from the detailed description below when taken in conjunction with the following drawings in which:
Fig. 1 is a circuit diagram of an automatic controller according to the present invention.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
A preferred embodiment of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to Fig. 1, a jack JA connected to input ports TXD and RXD of a central processing unit Ui is connected to a computer system (not shown) in which sunrise and sunset time data variable throughout 365 days as well as time data corresponding to second, minute, hour, day, month and year before and after sunrise and sunset are set. Once the data such as second, minute, hour, day, month and year are input to a memory circuit U4 from the central processing unit Ui, the memory circuit U4 continuously maintains the time data for ten years by a battery mounted into its own computer clock even if it is turned off. The memory circuit U4 having variable sunrise and sunset time data controls the switch DIP connected to output ports Plo PI7 of the central processing unit Ui so that light sources such as an outdoor advertizing signboard, a street lamp and a security lamp are accurately controlled to be turned on/off timely at sunrise and sunset.
Industrial Applicability
As described above, the present invention has advantages that optional advertizing effect can be achieved timely and, at the same time, power consumption can largely be reduced, since an outdoor advertizing signboard, a street lamp and a security lamp are automatically controlled to be turned on/off accurately at even variable sunrise and sunset time. For example, in case that a timer device is corrected per one month, power consumption corresponding to 15 hours a month and 180 hours a year can largely be reduced. In particular, in case of a signboard of 6 kw or above, its power consumption can significantly be reduced. That is, supposing that the signboard of 1 kw consumes to the amount of 52 per one hour, the amount capable of reducing its power consumption can be expressed as follows:
180 hours x 52 x 6 kw = 56,160 Therefore, 56,160 can be saved a year. In case that the timer device is corrected per four months, power consumption corresponding to 30 hours a month and 360 hours a year can largely be reduced. Supposing the signboard of 1 kw consumes to the amount of W 52 per one hour, the amount capable of reducing its power consumption can be expressed as follows:
360 hours x 52 x 6 kw - W 112,320 Therefore, 112,320 can be saved a year.
Since the outdoor advertizing signboards have a tendency to be larger in their size, recently, it is difficult for the signboards to control their capacity by the timer device of 16 amperes. Thus, they need additional equipments such as a magnetic relay and external devices. However, the automatic controller according to the present invention has a battery into its own computer clock, which is durable for ten years. Therefore, the automatic controller of the present invention need not such additional equipments. This causes additional costs caused by mounting such additional equipments not to occur. In addition, since the computer clock memories current time, sunrise and sunset time, day of the week, holiday, national holiday, Saturday all the times regardless of power failure, the outdoor advertizing signboard is automatically controlled to be turned on/off timely for 365 days by setting the clock once for all.
