  • the scrubber preferably comprises a venturi or a venturi scrubber, in which the unpurified gas is accelerated and then sprayed with water. It is also possible to have an extra reaction chamber, before the scrubber instead of the venturi, in which reaction chamber the solid substance particles are treated electrically to charge the particle either positvely or negatively. In this way the coagulation of the particles can be improved with a venturi or an extra reaction chamber, which means that the separation efficiency in the scrubber is improved.

Abstract

Procédé et appareil d'épuration de gaz de fumées et de traitement, procédé au cours duquel les gaz épurés sont amenés à un état proche du point de rosée, un absorbant est pulvérisé dans les gaz, les matières polluantes des gaz s'agglomèrent sur le sorbant, et le mélange gazeux est amené dans une chambre de réaction (4) où il est irradié par un faisceau d'électrons qui active les gaz et les absorbants de façon à former des composés macromoléculaires contenant les matières polluantes. Selon l'invention, les matières polluantes sont retirées pour être introduites dans un liquide de lavage où les composés sont séparés dans un séparateur.
