Abstract
Ce procédé de mise en forme sous pression de métal liquide consiste à obtenir une coulée, à la placer dans un moule et à la soumettre à une pression élevée. La nouveauté de ce procédé consiste à obtenir une préforme de refonte. Lors du transfert de la coulée vers le moule, on la refroidit à une température à laquelle la durée de transition de phase se rapproche de zéro. La pression exercée sur la préforme est égale à la pression à laquelle se produit la transition du métal d'une phase liquide en une phase solide.
