Abstract

The invention concerns a fully-automatic self-loading weapon, preferably a fully-automatic hand weapon, with an operating part (1) which can move when a shot is fired, and a single-shot firing system (4) which can be switched on and off and allows single shots to be fired. In order to restrict the number of shots in a burst to only two shots, when a shot has been fired and the single-shot firing system (4) switched off, the latter can be actuated by the movement of the operating part (1) such that only a single further shot can be fired. Advantageously the operating part takes the form of a hammer (1).
