Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système amélioré d'imagerie confocale utilisé dans l'examen des tissus dermiques d'un patient, ce système minimisant l'instabilité des images confocales en réduisant le mouvement relatif du tissu par rapport à l'optique d'imagerie confocale du système. Ce système comprend un mécanisme visant à maintenir une zone du tissu dermique sous tension en appliquant une force sur le pourtour de la zone, et une tête d'imagerie couplée à ce mécanisme et permettant de représenter la peau sous tension. Le mécanisme comprend une structure mécanique telle qu'une plaque, une entretoise ou un dispositif de fixation qui supporte à la fois la tête du système d'imagerie et applique une tension sur une zone superficielle limitée du tissu de façon à minimiser le mouvement de la peau au cours de l'imagerie confocale.
