Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la protection contre les contrefaçons de billets de banques, de valeurs et de documents. Cette invention permet d'accroître le niveau de protection contre les contrefaçons de valeurs et de documents, tout en offrant un système de protection simple à mettre en oeuvre. Ce système consiste en des marques qui sont appliquées lors de la fabrication des valeurs, des documents et, notamment, des billets de banque. Ce procédé de protection contre les contrefaçons consiste à intégrer une marque au matériau dont est fait l'objet à protéger, laquelle marque se présente sous forme d'une bande ou d'un fil contenant de l'osmium 187 ou un composé de ce dernier. Ce procédé consiste ensuite à révéler la présence de l'osmium par résonance magnétique nucléaire. Ce système de protection consiste en une marque qui se présente sous forme d'une bande ou d'un fil fait d'un matériau contenant de l'osmium 187 ou un composé de celui-ci. Ce système peut par exemple se présenter sous forme de deux bandes d'un matériau polymère qui sont séparées par une bande faite du matériau susmentionné ou, encore, sous forme d'un fil polymère dans lequel le matériau susmentionné est utilisé en qualité de matière de charge ou de noyau. Ce matériau peut consister en un composé chimique qui assure une orientation magnétique constante des atomes d'osmium 187.
