Abstract

Space heating device of the type provided with a combustion space and a flue duct connected to said combustion space, means being present for assisting the flue gas discharge through the flue duct. The flue gas discharge assisting means comprises a heating means fitted in or around the flue duct, for heating the air in the flue duct. This ensures that the flue gas discharge through the flue duct is assisted in a simple and effective manner, with the result that in particular at the time of lighting and extinguishing the fire sufficient upward draught is present in the flue duct to suck the flue gases into the flue duct.
