Abstract

The invention relates to a device and method for making the channel walls watertight around the joint of a subsidiary channel (2) and a main channel having an inliner (1), by applying a viscous jointing compound in the joint area. After hardening, this jointing compound forms watertight wall areas in the joint area. The device consists of a ring-shaped disk with an opening which at least partially overlaps the joint opening in the inliner. The radially outer area (3) of the ring disc is located in the section of the inliner (1) surrounding the joint opening, and can rest against this inliner. Said radially outer area (3) consists of a material which can be joined, in particular welded or glued, to the material of the inliner (1), and verges into a radially inner area (4) of the ring disc which can be integrated into the jointing compound. Ihr Vorteil gegenüber der Kanalsanierung mit aushärtenden Laminaten oder Geweben ist, daß mittels der ausgehärteten, sämtliche Wandunregelmäßigkeiten oder Schadstellen vollständig ausfüllenden Dichtmasse eine nicht nur dichte, sondern auch statisch hoch belastbare Verbindung zwischen dem Haupt- und dem Nebenkanal geschaffen wird, deren Festigkeit insbesondere auf dem intensiven Formschluß zwischen Dichtmasse und angrenzenden Kanalwandteilen beruht. Allerdings hat die Praxis gezeigt, daß die Verpreßtechnik nicht immer zu einer fluiddichten Anbindung der Dichtmasse an die Wandung des Hauptkanals führt, wenn dieser mit einem Inliner versehen ist und keines der möglichen Verpreßmaterialien sich mit dem Inliner zufriedenstellend verkleben läßt. Dies ist insbesondere bei Inlinem aus Polyethylen der Fall. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, geeignete Mittel aufzufinden bzw. Maßnahmen zu treffen, um bei mit viskosem Verpreßmaterial arbeitenden Kanalsanierungsverfahren auch dann eine fluiddichte Verbindung zwischen der ausgehärteten Dichtmasse und dem Hauptkanal zu schaffen, wenn dieser mit einem Inliner versehen ist.The last-mentioned processes using viscous molding material have proven themselves very well.
