Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'adsorption électrochimiquement contrôlée de substances organiques et d'ions de métaux lourds extraits de solutions aqueuses. Le procédé consiste à faire passer des solutions aqueuses contenant des substances organiques et des ions de métaux lourds à travers un adsorbant carboné granuleux et poreux. Cet adsorbant carboné poreux est un filtre ayant une surface spécifique de 100 à 1200 m2/gr et est placé dans un électrolyseur-échangeur de masse, lequel est divisé par une cloison-diaphragme non conductrice en une cellule anodique et une cellule cathodique, à travers lesquelles passent plusieurs liquides: un électrolyte, à une vitesse de 100 à 300 mm/minute, qui est composé de 0,1 à 10 % d'une solution aqueuse de sels minéraux, pour la cellule anodique; un anolyte, qui est composé de la même solution avec une adjonction de 10?-6 à 10-8¿ % de solution de sels de métaux lourds, pour la cellule cathodique; et d'un catalyte. A l'aide d'une source de flux constant, le traitement électrochimique des matières carbonées est effectué dans un intervalle de densité variant de 1 à 10 A/gr, pendant 30-90 minutes. Les matières carbonées polarisées sont humidifiées par une eau ne contenant pas d'adjonction de substances organiques ou inorganiques, pendant 5-10 minutes. A l'aide d'un voltmètre et d'une électrode de comparaison, on mesure alors les grandeurs des potentiels, à savoir une valeur E¿st.? des matières carbonées polarisées. Un valeur Est. variant de 0,2 à 0,4 B (Ag/AgCl) pour une forme modifiée par l'anode et variant de -0,1 à (-0,5) B (Ag/AgCl) pour une forme modifiée par la cathode signifie que les matières susmentionnées peuvent être utilisés.
