Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de l'électrotechnique et concerne plus particulièrement des dispositifs de chauffage par résistance et de faible puissance. L'unité de chauffage souple et plane se présente sous forme d'un paquet multicouches, lequel comprend un élément combustible pris entre des couches d'un diélectrique, un côté au moins de ces couches entrant en contact avec l'élément combustible par l'intermédiaire d'une couche polymère. L'élément combustible consiste en un tissu à base de carbone dont la résistance d'un fragment à section carrée, le long et en travers des fibres du tissu dudit fragment, varie entre 0,1 et 30 ohms. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de cette unité de chauffage souple et plane, lequel procédé consiste à préparer un élément combustible à partir d'un tissu à base de carbone auquel on a préalablement conféré une certaine rigidité, et dont la résistance d'un fragment à section carrée, le long et en travers des fibres dudit fragment, varie entre 0,1 et 30 ohms. On place ensuite l'élément combustible entre des couches d'un diélectrique qui entre en contact par l'une de ses surfaces, au moins, avec une couche polymère. Les couches du paquet ainsi obtenu sont ensuite fixées entre elles à l'aide d'un traitement thermique sous pression.
