Die Signalubertragung erfolgt dabei von Port 1 zu Port 3 über die beiden parallelen Koppelleitungen 1 und 3, die mit den parallel zu ihnen verlaufenden Koppelleitungen 2 und 4 zwischen Port 2 und Port 4 verkoppelt smd. Die Koppelleitungen 1 und 2 sowie 3 und 4 kreuzen sich auf der Hälfte ihrer Lange, indem die Kop- pelleitung 1 über eme Brücke 5 über die Koppelleitung 2 und die Koppelleitung 3 über eine Brücke 6 über die Koppelleitung 4 gefuhrt ist. Durch die Gleich¬ heit der vier Koppelleitungen ergeben sich hervorragende elek- tπsche Eigenschaften m Bezug auf Kopplung, Phasengang, Isola¬ tion und Reflexionsfaktor, wie sie bei Hochstfrequenzen mit herkömmlichen Kopplern nicht erreichbar sind. Man erhalt auf diese Weise Koppler mit naherungsweise idealen elektrischen Ei¬ genschaften, die z.B. in Streifenleitungstechnik aufgebaut sein können.
