Abstract

La présente invention concerne une dispersion aqueuse d'un oxyde de polynitrile stable représenté par la structure: (I) où x désigne un nombre entier plus grand que 1, R un groupe aromatique, aliphatique ou cycloaliphatique comportant au moins un substituant adjacent à chaque groupe oxyde de nitrile, ledit substituant étant caractérisé par la dimérisation inhibitrice de l'oxyde de nitrile et n'interférant pas avec une réaction entre les groupes oxydes de nitrile et les groupes insaturés. La présente invention concerne aussi une technique de traitement d'un latex comportant une phase en dispersion polyinsaturée, avec les étapes suivantes: a) mélange du latex avec un oxyde de polynitrile stable, b) élimination de l'eau du mélange. L'invention offre un moyen facile de préparer des systèmes de revêtement simple pouvant être traités à température ambiante sans dégagement de produits secondaires.
