Il existe sur le marché des produits destinés à cet usage,mettant à profit les propriétés eutectiques de certaines solutions liquides ou gélifiées conditionnées sous enveloppe étanche de matière plastique semi-rigide ou souple . Certains de ces produits se présentent sous la forme de volumes indéformables,par exemple:briquettes de glace"sèche" d'autres,sous la forme d'une plaque de faible épaisseur,plane ou alvéolée de manière à répartir le réfrigérant inclus en volumes indépendants, pouvant être moulée à la forme des objets à refroidir,après avoir été congelée. Les inconvénients majeurs de ces dispositifs,pour l'utilisateur résultent de leurs dimensions fixes; s'il est parfois possible de découper certains de ces dispositifs,et ce avec précaution pour ne pas percer l'enveloppe du réfrigérant au risque, d'en perdre,il est souvent très malaisé de les agrandir sans avoir recours à un quelconque outil.There are products on the market for this use, taking advantage of the eutectic properties of certain liquid or gelled solutions packaged in a sealed envelope of semi-rigid or flexible plastic. Chaque élément réfrigérant du dispositif est séparé des éléments réfrigérantsvoisins par un intervalle vide d'une largeur suffisante pour permettre le passage .d'un lien plastique quelconque,non décrit dans la présente demande,permettant de relier entre eux plusieurs éléments ou groupes d'éléments réfrigérants par simple ligature.
